Once we have viewed the property we will work with care organisations and local authorities to ensure all stakeholders want to proceed. Once this is agreed we will enter into a lease.
Most leases we enter into run for a minimum period of five years with renewal options included but longer or shorter leases can be arranged depending on your own requirements.
In many cases no adaption is required, it generally depends on the local authority need and the customers who will be living there. Sometimes further work will be required to ensure it is safe for the client group, particularly around ceilings and doors in order to maximise fire safety but this will be explored as part of the discussions about your property.
This depends on the local authority area and the number of people who will be living there. If a license is required, Amber Housing will obtain one.
